About the project
Arc Oasis Care Academy is a digital learning platform developed to support the education and professional development of caregivers. The platform provides structured training for people entering caregiving as well as those looking to strengthen their existing knowledge and skills.
The Academy combines online learning, learner accounts, course management, assessments, certifications and enrolment workflows within one digital platform, while also supporting in-person training. Current learning areas include dementia care, infection prevention and control, safeguarding vulnerable adults, first aid and essential care assistance.
The project supports a wider public health need: building a more knowledgeable and capable caregiving workforce. As demand for elder care and long-term support grows, accessible training can help improve caregiver confidence, employability and the quality of support available to older adults and other people who require care.
The platform was developed by the TES Digitals and LifeDev team for Arc Oasis Health, bringing together digital product development, learning technology and healthcare workforce development.
